Job: Freelance Outdoor Instructor

Location: Mendip Hills National Landscape, near Bristol.

Dates: Primarily May, June, July. Other dates available.

Salary: Standard day rate is £160. 

ABOUT YOU

​Your attitude and personality are paramount to us: we’re looking for someone who has a positive outlook, professionalism, and promptness and who works well under pressure. You’ll possess strong communication skills, great presentation skills and enjoy a varied and challenging programme.

QUALIFICATIONS​​

To work for us, you will hold some of the following qualifications: 

  • Rock Climbing Instructor (RCI), or 
  • Paddlesport Instructor or Paddlesport Leader​
  • BCA - LCLA L1 – ideally with Mendip/South Wales caves

  • Ski/Board qualification such as BASI L1 / SSE L1 +

  • DofE Supervisor/Assessor

  • NRSA 

  • ArcheryGB Leader

  • D1 Licence + CPC

  • Walking qualification

  • Knowledge of team development and initiative exercises

  • Bushcraft experience

  • MT RCDI

  • BC - Canoe Leader, Kayak Leader, SUP Inland Open Water Leader. PSI, PSL, FSRT Provider

  • BCA – LCLA L2
