WEB DEVELOPER

Mendip Activity Centre is seeking a Web Developer to work with our existing team to develop and maintain our existing in-house systems and websites.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

Mendip is seeking a logical-thinking, hard-working and experienced web developer that can see projects through from start to finish within our team environment. The candidate will have the ability to make logical decisions, work within an exciting and fast-paced environment, and have an appetite to continue learning.

The role can be performed remotely or in our office. You would need to work alongside our existing developers and design team to implement new features and projects alongside maintaining the existing systems.

Expected skills and qualifications :
 

• Strong understanding and experience with;

  • HTML 5

  • CSS

  • Javascript and jQuery

• Good understanding and experience with;

  • MySQL

  • PHP

• Ability to work within deadlines

• Fast learner

• Great communication skills

Desirable skills and qualifications :

Knowledge of:

• Linux

• Responsive web design

• GIT

• Database optimisation

• CSS Frameworks such as Bootstrap~
   

Expected experience

• Agency or Commercial: 3 years (preferred)
