Catering Assistant

Mendip is looking for motivated, passionate and brilliant Catering Assistant to take on a Full Time role at Mendip Activity Centre

The Role​

​Mendip is an expanding dynamic business. The role will involve working with our catering team and covering a range of responsibilities. A suitable candidate will be quick to learn how our business operates and the procedures we follow. The right person will manage their time efficiently; good organisational skills are essential. The job requires a polite courteous approach to all communication.

Core Responsibilities

• Prepping food

• Cooking for large groups each week

• Serving food in our various catering venues

• Cleaning

• Taking food orders when they arrive

• Supporting the cafe-bar when required
   

Essential Criteria

• Good communication skills

• Experience of basic cooking

• Full, clean driving license
   

Hours will include weekdays, some evenings, some weekends but not Saturday nights.
