KIDS ADVENTURE SUMMER CAMPS
If you’re worried your child spends too much time on screens or if you're simply trying to juggle work and school holidays - Mendip’s Kids Adventure Camps are the answer!
Our summer camps for ages 8–15 are completely screen-free and packed with an exciting mix of adventure, exploration and fun. Set in Mendip Lodge at Mendip Activity Centre amongst 250 acres of ancient woodland, children will be so busy climbing, paddling, exploring and laughing that they won’t miss their phones at all.
This is the kind of summer you'll remember - muddy trainers, new friends, and stories shared around campfires.
Most importantly, your child is in safe hands. Our camps are led by fully qualified, experienced instructors who are on site 24/7, creating a supportive, well-managed environment where children are encouraged, challenged and cared for at every step.

How do the summer camps work?
Camps run Sunday to Saturday. One simple booking covers the whole week - no need to juggle childcare or book multiple days. Everything’s included: activities, home-cooked food, full catering and comfortable indoor accommodation in our cosy country Lodge.
Children arrive on Sunday afternoon at 6pm.
Throughout the week, children will enjoy a huge variety of activities, including Rock Climbing, Paddling, Bushcraft, Target Sports, Frisbee Golf, and ArcheryActive, plus team games and Night Hikes under the stars. It’s a mix of choice, challenge and encouragement - great for children who need a confidence boost or simply thrive outdoors.
Children are picked up on Saturday morning between 9am and 10am.
They'll head home with a bag full of laundry (sorry parents!) and a head full of brilliant memories.
