At Mendip Activity Centre, we specialise in unforgettable group adventures that bring people together, spark plenty of laughs and create memories you'll still be talking about long after the wedding!

ARCHERY, AXE THROWING & AIR RIFLE
Perfect your aim and challenge your team with the friendly rivalry of Archery, Axe Throwing or Air Rifle shooting.
Choose one or book a mixture of the three! Test your focus, skill and friendly competition in a fun, instructor-led environment.

KAYAKING, CANOEING OR PADDLEBOARDING
We have a number of paddlesport sessions available including with SUP Bristol, who are part of the Mendip Adventure family, on Bristol's harbour. Or, you could choose a river in the heart of Somerset.
These sessions are great fun and we'll adapt the session and make it as wet or as dry as you want!

ROCK CLIMBING
One for the adrenaline junkies!
Our climbing sessions take place outdoors, on a real rockface. Set in the heart of Somerset this is a real adventure to challenge the bride or groom to be! We're fortunate to have our very own private rocksports quarry where you'll find yourself in an epic location worthy of a film set!
Everyone will be kitted out with a safety harness and helmet before learning how to clip in, climb and safely belay partners. Qualified instructors will be with you every step of the way, helping you reach the highest heights!

CAVING
Did you know that the Mendip Hills has one of the best underground networks of caves in the country?
If you're looking for a more challenging stag or hen do, check this out!
Explore the fascinating Goatchurch cavern, the ideal cave for beginners. This is no show cave- instead, expect to squeeze, climb and pull yourself through the twists, turns and chambers of this underground world.
Adventure caving is great fun. An awesome way to get to know each other and explore a world normally reserved for very few!

ARCHERYACTIVE
ArcheryActive is the ultimate team combat sport - it combines all of the best bits of paintballing, archery and dodgeball - without the bruises, mess or expensive ammo!
Our purpose-built archery active arena at our base in the south west is the perfect space for battle scenarios and mini-games, all led by your own instructor.
Perfect for groups of 8 or more, ArcheryActive is fun, competitive and guaranteed to get everyone laughing.

MISSION IMPOSSIBLE
Nothing is impossible if you work together, communicate, plan, adapt, and overcome. A set of fun and exciting outdoor challenges devised to put your team's skills to the test.
The day starts with a communal briefing before you split into teams (or go out as one). The team to complete the missions and crack the final code will be crowned the winners!

Catering options might include the Chamonix buffet, a tasty selection of hand-cut sandwiches served with unlimited chips or wedges, fruit and a selection of homemade cakes.
Alternatively, our Alpine Lounge café-bar menu offers a great selection of appetising snacks and drinks. We can make sure the bar is ready to welcome you at the end of your day for a well-deserved refreshing drink- whether that's a hot chocolate or a mulled wine!
We also have great relationships with local pubs such as Thatcher's Railway Inn, The Woodborough Inn in Winscombe or Cadbury Hotel.

Mendip Activity Centre is well located for Stag and Hen Dos taking place in Somerset, Bristol, Bath & the Mendip Hills. SUP Bristol Paddleboarding and Kayaking takes place in the centre of Bristol.
