TOBOGGANING
AT MENDIP ACTIVITY CENTRE 

WHAT IS TOBOGGANING? 
Our Tobogganing slope is one of the most popular activities and things to do in Somerset! Children and adults blast down our floodlit Toboggan slope on colourful Zibob toboggans, laughing and smiling. A light sprinkler system makes the slope extra slippery and the running up and down is guaranteed to burn off energy. 

WHO IS SUITABLE FOR?
The slope is open air, floodlit and goes ahead in all-weather. The covered spectator area ensures parents can safely view their children. 

INDIVIDUAL SPACES
30-minute slots are available for as many children as you like. There are 16 spaces per slot and everyone must be aged 4 to 12.

EXCLUSIVE SESSIONS
30-minute exclusive slots are also available for 8 or 16 people. If you book this option, tobogganers over the age of 12, including adults, can take part. 

Whole hour exclusive use of the entire slope is also available for up to 24 tobogganers. Tobogganers must be aged between 4 and 12.

TWILIGHT TOBOGGANING

Twilight Tobogganing is back! Our award-winning magical Christmas sessions are available for exclusive bookings of up to 8 people and are the perfect family activity for the holiday season.

Get exclusive use of 8 toboggans, plus an enchanted woodland walk to a magical grotto where participants toast marshmallows and warm up with hot chocolate. Enjoy alpine-themed cabins, 10,000 fairy lights, FREE santa hats, Christmas music, a Hollywood-style snow machine, lasers and fairy lights.

DISCO TOBOGGANING

Give your winter adventures a glow-up with Disco Tobogganing!

 

Boogie on down for a groovy good time of Tobogganing, Disco-pop tunes, and photo opportunities. It’s a family-friendly party for children and young people ages 4 to 12, and adults can join in too when you book an exclusive 30-minute session!

 

Zip down the open-air all-weather slope decorated with funky lights and run back up again to a soundtrack of Disco classics and modern pop music sure to brighten the winter days. Bring your brightest outfits and find out who is the fastest on the slope - and has the best dance moves - then snap fabulous photos among the shimmering decorations.

 

After your session, keep the party going at the on-site bar and cafe, or make a day of it and try one of our other great activities. 

 

​Individual and group bookings are available and prices start from £8 per person.
