FREELANCE OUTDOOR INSTRUCTORS
Mendip Adventure is looking for motivated, passionate and brilliant freelance instructors to work within Mendip Activity Centre, Mendip Outdoor Instructor Training and SUP Bristol. We have year-round work available, particularly in May, June & July.
There are plenty of benefits of working for Mendip.ou'll work both independently and as part of a team with a wide range of clients. We value our freelance outdoor instructors as an important part of the team; the days after often short. The work is varied and interesting.
Location: Mendip Hills National Landscape near Bristol/Cheddar
Dates: Year-round, primarily May, June & July
Salary: Standard day rate is £160.
ABOUT YOU
Your attitude and personality are paramount to us: we’re looking for someone who has a positive outlook, professionalism, and promptness and who works well under pressure. You’ll possess strong communication skills, great presentation skills and enjoy a varied and challenging programme.
ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS
We are looking for Freelancers who hold either:
- Rock Climbing Instructor (RCI), or
- Paddlesport Instructor or Paddlesport Leader, or
- BCA - LCLA L1 – ideally with Mendip/South Wales caves, or
- ArcheryGB Leader, or
- NRSA Air Rifle Leader, or
- Experience of delivering Team Building, initiative exercises & bushcraft
OTHER QUALIFICATIONS
The following qualifications may also be consider:

Ski/Board qualification such as BASI L1 / SSE L1 +

D1 Licence + CPC

Walking qualification

RCDI

BC - Canoe Leader, Kayak Leader, SUP Inland Open Water Leader. PSI, PSL, FSRT Provider
