
ESTATE TEAM MEMBER

Mendip is looking for a motivated, passionate and brilliant estate team member to take on a year round maintenance role at Mendip Activity Centre and help us on our mission, the Mendip Way.

The Role
Our estates team have a vital role to play in enabling our mission through maintaining our facilities, developing new venues, fixing everything we break and keeping our vehicle fleet moving.
No two days will ever be the same working in our estate team. Help to look after our 250 acre outdoor activity centre, dry ski slope, campsite and lodge. Mendip is one of the largest outdoor activity providers in the South West and are constantly growing. Our estate team are the back bone to our success. If you love working outdoors and can turn your hand to anything and relish a challenge then you will fit right in.
The estate team primarily works Monday to Friday – 8am till 4pm. However, the business is open Monday to Sunday and there is occasional requirement for the team to share weekend shift cover.

Your attitude and personality is paramount to us: we’re looking for someone who has a positive outlook, professionalism, promptness and who works well under pressure.
About You
We are looking to employ someone with a wide range of experience, qualifications and skills who can turn their hand to many things and find positive solutions to a variety of problems. Whilst a broad skill set is required, we are keen to find the right candidate with general building and maintenance skills including blockwork, roofing, carpentry and tiling etc.
Essential Skills

Previous experience (3+ years )in a similar trade role
