Team GB’s success at the 2026 Winter Olympics has sparked a surge in first-time skiers and snowboarders across Somerset and the South West – with Mendip Activity Centre welcoming a wave of new faces to the slopes.

From learning to ski at Mendip Activity Centre to competing on the world stage, Shipham-based athlete Jens Hullah is now pushing towards qualification for the 2026 Winter Games - and we’re proud to once again sponsor him this bobsleigh season.
