Mendip Activity Centre are excited to announce that they have won the Smart Living Nature Award.
The award ceremony took place at the Winter Gardens in Weston- Super- Mare on Friday 30th September. The awards recognise organisations "making choices that are smart for people, smart for the environment, and smart for the economy". Taking place before the awards, the Smart Living Conference was a chance to explore the opportunities that will help create more resilient, more sustainable local and circular economies.
Mendip was chosen by Savita Willmott from the Bristol Natural History Consortium (BNHC) for their work on education and sustainability. David Eddins, Managing Director at Mendip Activity Centre said "one of the biggest impacts we can have on the environment is through outdoor education. By gaining an appreciation for nature, we can encourage our customers- school groups, families and businesses to do more to support sustainability."
